Candied Nuts (Perfect for Gifting!)
Servings: About 4 cups
Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients

4 cups mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews, etc.)

â…“–½ cup maple syrup or granulated sugar (use more for extra coating)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground cloves (or other spices of choice)

Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions

Add nuts to a large skillet over medium heat.

Pour in maple syrup (or sugar) and stir to coat the nuts generously.

Add cinnamon, cloves, and any other desired spices.

Cook, stirring frequently, until the liquid thickens and fully coats the nuts. Watch closely — nuts can burn easily.

Once sticky and caramelized, remove from heat and spread nuts onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Let cool completely before breaking apart and packaging.
