Pizza Dough with Wheat Flour

Pizza Dough with Wheat Flour
Makes 2 pizzas
Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients
Pizza Dough
1 tablespoon of yeast
1 tablespoon of sugar (any kind of sugar)
2 cups warm water
1 1/2  teaspoon of salt
3 cups whole wheat flour (if using a heavier wheat flour I would recommend doing half wheat flour, half white flour)

Tofu Sausage
1 block of extra firm tofu
2 tablespoons soy sauce
garlic powder (to cover the tofu)
smoked paprika (to cover)
Italian seasoning (to cover)
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
nutritional yeast (to cover)

Pizza Sauce 
2-3 cloves garlic
28 oz can crushed tomatoes 
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 
1 teaspoon salt 
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar 
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce 
 

Instructions
1. Proof the yeast by placing the yeast, sugar and 1 cup of water in a bowl, stir and let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. Add salt, flour, liquid to a large bowl and mix together. Add the other cup of water and mix into a ball. Let dough rest for 1 hour to rise. 
3. While the dough is rising crumble the tofu into a bowl and mix all tofu sausage ingredients to a bowl and mix. Air fry for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. 
4. To make the sauce, add the garlic to a pan with water for a couple of minutes. Then add the can of tomatoes, salt and Italian seasoning along with the red wine vinegar, sugar and soy sauce. Heat everything through. Preheat oven to 425.
5. Shape the dough into 2 pizzas with a rolling pin. Add pizza sauce, tofu and toppings of choice. Bake for 12 minutes.
