Easy Instant Pot Black Bean Brownies

black beans brownies instant pot Sep 05, 2025

These Easy Instant Pot Black Bean Brownies are rich, fudgy, and unbelievably simple—made with just 3 ingredients! By combining boxed brownie mix with creamy black beans, you’ll get moist, decadent brownies with added fiber and plant-based goodness. Perfect for when you want a quick, no-fuss dessert that tastes indulgent but is secretly healthier.

Easy Instant Pot Black Bean Brownies
Total Time:
Serving Size:

Ingredients
16 ounce brownie mix
1 can rinsed and drained black beans
1/2 cup water

Instructions
1. Blend everything together in a blender.
2. Grease an oven-safe baking pan. Line it with a parchment base (optional), and pour the batter in. In this recipe, I used a 7-inch springform pan for a 6 quart Instant Pot. Cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil to prevent any excess moisture from dripping in the pan.
3. Pour a cup of water into the pot, place a trivet and place the cake pan on top. Close the lid and select the CAKE button and press START. Set the timer to 40 mins at high pressure.
4. Once cook time is over, wait 10 minutes and then release pressure manually. Open the lid once the pin drops. Using silicone mitts, remove the cake pan and remove the foil.
5. Using a plastic knife, go around the edges of the brownie. Release the spring and remove the ring. Let the brownies cool 10 minutes before cutting.
