Butter Bean Burgers

Butter Bean Burgers
Makes 12 burgers
Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients
2 cans of butter beans 
1 small yellow onion
2-3 cloves of garlic 
1 cup breadcrumbs (use ground oats if gluten free)
2 tablespoons soy sauce 
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika 
1/4 cup nutritional yeast 
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of black pepper
unsweetened plant milk
Italian seasoning 
Topping ideas
hamburger buns
mustard 
ketchup
lettuce

Instructions 
1. Rinse and drain beans and place in a food processor. Then add the onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika and nutritional yeast and blend until smooth.
2. In 2 separate bowls add the plant milk and some breadcrumbs with a shake of Italian Seasoning. Scoop up bean mixture and shape into patty and dip into milk then breadcrumbs. Cook for 15 minutes at 400. Flip and cook for 15 minutes.
