Pressure Cooker Applesauce
Serves: 6 • Total Time: 30  minutes  • FODMAP rating: high

This is the easiest way to make your own homemade applesauce!

Ingredients
3 pounds of apples (cores removed)
⅓ cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
dash of ground cloves

Instructions
1. Place cored apples (with or without skins), water and lemon juice into the pressure cooker. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes.
2. Allow the pressure cooker to naturally release for 10 minutes. Add cinnamon and ground cloves.
3.If you have kept the skin on your apples, blend everything up with an immersion blender or in batches with a traditional blender. Serve and enjoy!

*Don’t forget to preload on vegetables before you eat!
*The applesauce can be kept for about 10 days stored in the fridge or up to 2 months frozen in the freezer.

*FODMAP Swaps: Apples by nature are high in FODMAPs so if you find you are sensitive to them start with under 2 tablespoons per meal and increase as tolerated
